Vera Molnar (1924–2023)

Vera Molnar presents Mesh, 1971, in the Historical Artists Room

  • Vera Molnar, who became famous with the "Machine Imaginaire," dreamed of working with a computer to create series even as a young artist. However, it wasn't until 1968 that she was able to realize her first experiments with a computer and the resulting plotter drawings. The work "Mesh" is among her earliest works and was created in 1971.
